Possible to call mouse macro from LUA?

I'm looking for solutions for an older aircraft and I'm wondering, hypothetically,...is it possible to call a mouse macro from an lua module?  That might give me some flexibility I could use.

Any macro, mouse or otherwise, can be triggered using the lua library ipc.macro function, as documented.
