remcosol Posted October 4, 2015 Author Report Posted October 4, 2015 Is it simconnect? I have deleted shaders and .cfg but no difference . It runs smooth for 3 seconds and then a stutter period comes on. like a cycle. It ran smooth also with 60 fps but now 3 sec 60 fps then 45 etc etc. ( 60 fps not used during logfile)
remcosol Posted October 4, 2015 Author Report Posted October 4, 2015 it gets worse..... after deleting fsuipc and clearing shaders and cfg. the stutters remain and make p3d v3.0 unusable.......
Pete Dowson Posted October 4, 2015 Report Posted October 4, 2015 it gets worse..... after deleting fsuipc and clearing shaders and cfg. the stutters remain and make p3d v3.0 unusable....... Sorry, it isn't FSUIPC. You need to look elsewhere. Pete
remcosol Posted October 5, 2015 Author Report Posted October 5, 2015 Can it be the auto save feature ? Or an incorrect removal of v 4.95 on my part ( xml.dll) ?
Pete Dowson Posted October 5, 2015 Report Posted October 5, 2015 Can it be the auto save feature ? Or an incorrect removal of v 4.95 on my part ( xml.dll) ? If you didn't turn the autosave on (it's off by default), it couldn't be that, and certainly not every 3 seconds -- maybe every 60. And since your stuttering continued when you removed FSUIPC, it obviously cannot be involved now, can it? BTW, where did you get version 4.95 from? I've not released such a version yet! The ONLY version currently suitable for use with P3D version 3 is 4.946. Pete
remcosol Posted October 5, 2015 Author Report Posted October 5, 2015 My appologies, it is 4.946 ( it was late last night ;) ). The problem has been fixed ! as you said it was not fsuipc but something other very interesting was at the base of the problem.... Just before the install i changed one other thing. The water detail level was changed from Ultra to medium. This causes the stutters. For some reason it has to go to ultra to be smooth..... sounds too good to be true...... thank you for your support!

Aha, interesting indeed! I think you need to report that as a bug to Lockheed Martin! Thanks for getting back with the answer! Pete
