BoxxMann Posted October 4, 2015 Report Posted October 4, 2015 Thanks to Pete the 4.946 update :) I have a button set to "Spoiler Toggle" in FSX, P3Dv2.5 and P3Dv3 and run FSUIPC 4.946 for all three. I have the same button on one of my sticks set to "Spoiler Toggle" on press and on release. What this does is activate the spoilers on button press+HOLD and then deactive them on release. The function is not set to repeat. This binding works as wanted in both FSX and P3Dv2.5 but does not work for P3Dv3. I've tested this in the same plane, the F22, across all three. If I press the button in v3 the speedbrakes do nothing and then activate on release. It's something I felt should be reported. Boxx

Use the Event Logging in FSUIPC and activate the control Check the log to ensure the control is indeed being sent. If it is, then FSUIPC is doing its job. Then use the regular Spoiler Toggle keyboard assignment in P3D itself and see if that works. If not, you need to report the problem to Lockheed-Martin on their support forum. Otherwise let me know. Pete
BoxxMann Posted October 5, 2015 Author Report Posted October 5, 2015 Thank you, Pete - I ran the console/debugger and the command is indeed being sent to the sim. The sim, however, isn't taking it. I'm off to report it to Lockheed.

I'm off to report it to Lockheed. Did it work using P3D's own assignment though (ie the / or Shift / or ctrl / -- never can remember which).? [LATER] Okay. Just tested for myself. It works fine for the FSX 738 transported into P3Dv3. And incidentally, the default keyboard assignment is just /. Both that and assigning in FSUIPC work fine. So it might actually be a problem with the F22? I can't tell with that. Don't know where to look. Pete
BoxxMann Posted October 5, 2015 Author Report Posted October 5, 2015 Well, Pete...I am the dumb bunny...I had the function bound in both P3D and FSUIPC. Deleting the function from P3D took care of that...embarrassed...apologies!
