Paul__ Posted November 11, 2015 Report Posted November 11, 2015 Hi Pete I installed Prepar3D Version 3 a few days agoI span the simulator over three 26" screens and a fourth 22" screen to put FS Commander onI was extremely pleased with how fluid P3D was until I installed and loaded FS Commander 9.6It doesn't matter whether I place FS commander on the 4th screen or position it in a small windows on one of the three spanned screens .... as soon as I connect FS Commander to P3D it starts to stutter dreadfully ... If I then disconnect it but leave FS Commander up on the screen P3D smooths out perfectly I was just wondering if it could possibly be FSUIPC causing the stuttering issue and if you have any suggestions for me to try I am using your latest build .. Version 4.948Thanking you Pete Kind regards Paul

I've no idea what FS commander does or is doing during this time, but that's where to look. Does it have some sort of moving map? Is it possibly doing something when connected which it isn't doing when it isn't connected? It may not be the connection itself, but whatever it is doing (eg screen stuff) when it is connected. Perhaps you can try changing options in FSC to see if there's something specific it is doing which causes the problems. Since I've no idea what it is doing I can only suggest you ask the author or FSC support for advice. But did you ever use this setup with P3D2 or FSX? If it's changed in P3Dv3 it might be yet another P3D problem to add to the list -- there seems to be quite a lot wrong with it at present. BTW I thought most FSC users ran it on a client PC via WideFS? Pete
Paul__ Posted November 12, 2015 Author Report Posted November 12, 2015 Good morning Pete Firstly thank you for getting back to me FS Commander is a moving map/flight planner ..... I have left a message on the author's forum but he is at a loss too! I will try your suggestions ... thank you for that FSC can be used via a client PC but I never experienced any issues with FSX and previous versions of P3D from v.2.4 using it on a single PC Hmmmm come to think of it ... I am pretty sure Lockheed Martin changed the file structures from v2.5 so maybe that could be a clue to my issues Cheers Paul
