Add-ons don't recognize FSUIPC is installed, 3.999z8 Registered

Hello,

I have been using a earlier version of FSUIPC for quite some time, and it was unregistered as well. Everything was working perfectly. Squawkbox could connect to the simulator, my weather app (FSGRW) could connect, my virtual airline ACARS could connect etc.

I decided to download and register the latest version of FSUIPC for fs2004. (v3.999z8)

 

After downloading and registering. None of the apps that I listed above could connect to the simulator. 

 

So... I reinstalled all of the apps above that couldn't connect. And again, they could not connect. 

 

I think I had this problem a few months ago when I tried using the latest version of FSUIPC, so i remember going back to an earlier version where the add-ons could work. Now I am stuck with the same problem again. 

 

How can I fix this issue? I don't really know why there is a problem. I can edit FSUIPC within the simulator, but no outside add-ons can connect to the simulator.
