Space Posted May 9, 2016 Report Posted May 9, 2016 Pretty much the EXACT same problem as below, however I've updated FSUIPC4 yet it still does this? http://forum.simflight.com/topic/79683-version-of-simconnect-cannot-load-fsuipc4/
Pete Dowson Posted May 9, 2016 Report Posted May 9, 2016 Linking to a thread about a VERY old version of FSUIPC, and providing no information at all about your problem, is just a waste of time. At least the other thread does have the Install Log. Where is yours? Please show it to me. Without seeing that there's no way I can possibly help! Pete
Space Posted May 10, 2016 Author Report Posted May 10, 2016 The log and everything is exactly the same as that, I know the guy that posted that, and I'm installing the same mod as he did in that thread, however he has become inactive and I haven't been able to ask him how he fixed it. Quite literally everything is EXACTLY the same.

Quite literally everything is EXACTLY the same. If your log is identical to that one then the answer too is exactly the same -- version 4.152 is from July 2007, not long after FSX was published. It knows nothing about any later versions. The earliest supported version is 4.95. He fixed it by doing what I told him to do, update to the current version. Why don't you do the same? Pete

Pete Dowson Posted May 10, 2016 Report Posted May 10, 2016 So, let's see the new log. If it is identical to the one in the other thread, as you did VERY explicitly state, then you are obviously still using 4.1! Pete

Space Posted May 10, 2016 Author Report Posted May 10, 2016 Pardon? Sorry, I edited the post and fixed it.. xD
Pete Dowson Posted May 10, 2016 Report Posted May 10, 2016 Sorry, I edited the post and fixed it.. xD Okay, and it shows a perfectly good install into FSX-SE and even successful Registration Check. Your FSX-SE is situated in the normal place: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX and as it says, FSUIPC 4.95 is installed into C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX\Modules which is also where the usual copy of the correct Install log will be, alongside also your registration (FSUIPC4.KEY file), and a subfolder "FSUIPC Documents" with all of the documentation and other goodies. So, where are you getting that very old install log from, apart from the thread you referenced. and why do you think there's any problem? Haven't you even tried running FSX-SE yet and looking at the Add0Ons menu for the FSUIPC entry? Pete

The FSUIPC in that package is totally unusable now. If it does succeed in installing that old version, re-run the 4.95 installer to fix the mess it made. You should be using the RCV4 support forum on AVSIM for problems with the RCV4 Installer. You came here implying it was something to do with me! Pete

Maurice Lyon Posted April 18, 2020 Report Posted April 18, 2020 Hi Pete, I have this problem, can you help me ? FSUIPC4 Install.log
Pete Dowson Posted April 18, 2020 Report Posted April 18, 2020 1 hour ago, Maurice Lyon said: I have this problem, can you help me ? Do you realise you have added to a thread which has been dead for nearly 4 (FOUR) years? Furthermore, after a quick look at your LOG, no it is NOT the same problem. If you want some expert attention to a problem here you should please construct your own thread with a suitable title. The title to this one in no way matches your problem, which simply shows that you have no proper SimConnect modules installed. Pete
