Jensil Posted June 7, 2016 Report Posted June 7, 2016 (edited) Hello Dear Flight Simmers, Greetings of the day!!! I am using Flight Simulator X Steam Edition the latest version..... i am also using FSUIPC 4.949 (UNREGISTERED).... FSX is quite stable with short flights...but the flight from Kuwait (OKBK/KWI) to Mangalore (VOML/IXE) is always crashing to desktop....and the culprit is "terrain.dll"... i have flown this flight 4 times till date and wen i am 550 nm from Mangalore or 178nm it crashes.... i am tired of searching for fixes....i have seen similar threads here but i am not able to find any solution.... Let me tell u my system specifications HP DV6-6120SE Entertainment Laptop it has intel second generation core i7 CPU clocked at 2.2GHz 1GB AMD RADEON 6490M graphics card with Intel HD Graphics 3000 500GB HDD and 4GB RAM these specs shouldnt cause a crash as per my knowledge.... DirectX is installed....m having the 2010 Runtimes..........I also have the C++ routines installed... Graphics card driver is latest from windows update... i recently installed FSX SE again and the issue still persists.... I am on Windows 10 64Bit Pro.... The Addon aircraft used for the flight is PMDG 737NGX SP1D I need a fix As Soon As possible........... Let us try and eliminate this problem from our simulators.....any members familiar with the issue and the solution please respond here.... Regards, Jensil Edited June 7, 2016 by Jensil

Not that FSUIPC is at all relevant here, but version 4.949 is out of date and not supported. 56 minutes ago, Jensil said: the flight from Kuwait (OKBK/KWI) to Mangalore (VOML/IXE) is always crashing to desktop....and the culprit is "terrain.dll"... i have flown this flight 4 times till date and wen i am 550 nm from Mangalore or 178nm it crashes.... This is almost certainly a corrupt scenery file. Terrain is not something which is "computed" so much, but merely loaded, scaled, projected and displayed. The fact that it occurs in a particular place, consistently, should actually help you identify what scenery needs fixing. 58 minutes ago, Jensil said: I am tired of searching for fixes....i have seen similar threads here but i am not able to find any solution... Why are you searching and posting in the FSUIPC support forum, when it is really unrelated, even more so as you are evidently not even using FSUIPC? You should be asking over in FSX/FSX-SE forums, surely, like the one in AVSIM? Pete
