bigwill619 Posted July 4, 2016 Report Posted July 4, 2016 (edited) When I select FSUIPC in the add on menu nothing happens. Edited July 4, 2016 by bigwill619
Pete Dowson Posted July 4, 2016 Report Posted July 4, 2016 Please see this thread http://forum.simflight.com/topic/81806-weird-problem-only-in-kjfk-area/#comment-493444 Scroll down to the solution found in that case, in the 5th message there. If that doesn't help, see the 4th message. Pete
bigwill619 Posted July 4, 2016 Author Report Posted July 4, 2016 FYI, the FSUIPC would work in the add on drop menu when FSUIPC wasn't registered then I bought and registered it. That's when I couldn't select it from the drop menu.
Pete Dowson Posted July 4, 2016 Report Posted July 4, 2016 Please find the FSUIPC4 log file, in the Modules folder, and paste it into a message here. Make sure the Sim is closed first. Pete

Pete Dowson Posted July 4, 2016 Report Posted July 4, 2016 Yes. Both symptoms and the log ( which I assume is all you got? I did ask you to close FS first) point to a corrupted weather file. So please proceed to the references I gave you earlier. Pete
bigwill619 Posted July 4, 2016 Author Report Posted July 4, 2016 I don't understand what the references are saying.
Pete Dowson Posted July 5, 2016 Report Posted July 5, 2016 What, none of it., like finding and deleting specific weather related files? "That was the solution. I deleted the WX file and the WXStationList.BIN file and everything is working again." Please explain your problem. Is it the English? Else just delete the default flight's .WX file and the Wxstationlist.bin file and try again. Corrupted weather files are a big problem and seem to occur quite easily. FSUIPC is only involved here because it uses SIMCONNECT to read the weather data regularly. Pete
