Marc63 Posted September 5, 2016 Report Posted September 5, 2016 Hi, When I install FSUIPC 4.955 big freeze problem. P3D is unplayable. The Autosave in FSUIPC is unactive. I temporarily solved the problem by removing the FSUIPC.dll My P3D is version 3.3 Sorry for my bad English. Thank you. :)
Pete Dowson Posted September 5, 2016 Report Posted September 5, 2016 I cannot help you at all without any information. Version 4.955 is now out of date. Please always install the currently supported one or later before asking for help. 4.955c is the current one and there's a later version, 4.955j, available in the Download Links subforum. When you are using the supported version, if you still get a problem please provide the following information: 1. A full description of the problem. Just saying "big freeze problem" and "unplayable" is no help whatsoever. You must describe what happens -- i.e. what you see on screen and how you detect there is a 'problem'. 2. If FSUIPC is indeed loading, then it will generate a log file telling you and I what it is doing. This is most important. it is called FSUIPC4.LOG and is found in the Modules folder in P3D. It is a text file and you can paste its contents, complete, into a message here. 3. I also need to know if your FSUIPC is registered, and what other add-ons you are using. Also whether it's a default aircraft or an add-on aircraft. Pete
Marc63 Posted September 7, 2016 Author Report Posted September 7, 2016 Hi Pete, I expected to know exactly what you wanted as details.I'm not angry. :)Since 2002 I have always been satisfied with FSUIPC.I'm a registered user.My version of FSUIPC in 4.955cI will install the Version 4.955jThank you for your support. :)
Marc63 Posted September 7, 2016 Author Report Posted September 7, 2016 Sorry, I did not see the message '' READ BEFORE POSTING FSUIPC PROBLEM REPORT '' I come back with details in a few days. :) Marc
Pete Dowson Posted September 7, 2016 Report Posted September 7, 2016 In a few days I am off for a while -- back 21st September. Sorry. Others here should be able to help. If not I'll be catching up when I return. Pete

This problem throughout the duration of the flight. No problem without FSUIPC.DLL This generally is an indication that something which depends on FSUIPC is having a problem. There's nothing in FSUIPC itself which causes any sort of pauses, though if you enable the AutoSave option the action of FS when doing the requested flight save will cause a noticeable pause -- mainly with very sophisticated aircraft which also save all their settings. 28 minutes ago, Marc63 said: FSUIPC.LOG Nothing wrong showing there. What about your settings (the FSUIPC4.INI file)? On 9/5/2016 at 1:05 PM, Marc63 said: The Autosave in FSUIPC is unactive. Right, so the pauses aren't due to that. Unless you have some Lua plug-ins operating which might cause problems I don't see anything which can make any pausing. But please do show me the INI file. Pete

Marc63 Posted September 7, 2016 Author Report Posted September 7, 2016 I also FSX on my computer. Conflict is that possible ?
Pete Dowson Posted September 7, 2016 Report Posted September 7, 2016 3 hours ago, Marc63 said: WideFSenabled=Yes You use WideFS? See if the pauses occur still if you disable it (main 'About' tab of FSUIPC options. If not then I susepct you have something wrong with your Network settings, or network driver. 2 hours ago, Marc63 said: I also FSX on my computer. Conflict is that possible ? No, not possible. You can't run them both at the same time in any case, and all their files and settings are independent of each other. Do you have pauses in FSX too? Is P3D3.3.5 your first version of P3D? When did the pauses start, or have you only installed FSUIPC recently and never used it before? Pete
Marc63 Posted September 11, 2016 Author Report Posted September 11, 2016 FSX but not used since last year. After checking FSX also freezes. P3D installed for the first time. Disabled Wide FS : Problem still there.
Marc63 Posted September 11, 2016 Author Report Posted September 11, 2016 I finally found the problem. The freeze in P3D and FSX was caused by a defective GoFlight module.GoFlight unit unplugged no freezes.I reinstalled FSUIPC.DLLP3D and FSX working well now.Thank you very much for your support. Marc
