Gary Cottrill Posted September 7, 2016 Report Posted September 7, 2016 Hello Friends, I have a button on my CH Throttle programed to toggle A/C exit. I'm trying to make the door open "on ground only". I'm only a hobbiest, but can see the potentiial of OFFSETS!! Can one of you take mercy on me and get me started on my OFFSET journey? It would be appreciated`. Yes, tried Advanced users.PDF. From FSUIPC.ini: 46=PB,9,C66172,0 47=PB,5,K57,9 48=UA,6,C66300,0 49=PA,0,C66719,0 52=PB,10,C65752,0 53=RB,11,C65588,0 54=W0366=1 PA,1,C66389,0////Toggle door on ground only. At bottom of .ini file: [Keys.Learjet 45 Limited Edition] 1=74,8,65572,0 Gary

After I posted I exited all programs and restarted FSX. It then worked! Why this happened I don't know. BTW I also need ground speed to be zero to toggle door. The advanced users guide began at 1 offset past G/S. Any chance you could help me out? It's the stock Lear 45. Thanks

If you edit the INI file whilst FS is running, you need to tell FSUIPC to re-read it -- use the "Reload Buttons" button on the Buttons & Switches tab in the Options. 2 hours ago, Gary Cottrill said: BTW I also need ground speed to be zero to toggle door. Well, the simply offset test condition facility doesn't do multiple tests I'm afraid. I suppose you could use one offset to set a button flag (there's an assignable control for that) and then test that flag as well as the second offset in the Exit assignment line. However, really, if you want to program the way things behave in any such ways you would really be far better off using a Lua plug-in instead. You can do almost anything you like that way. 2 hours ago, Gary Cottrill said: The advanced users guide began at 1 offset past G/S. Sorry, I've no idea what this means. The offsets are listed in the supplied Offset Status document. Pete
