Can you help me locate the file It's available on the main FSUIPC download site over in Schiratti.com/dowson, and also in the Download Links subforum here. Where did you get FSUIPC from and not find MakeRunwats? Pete
tonymerry Posted December 16, 2016 Author Report Posted December 16, 2016 Hi Pete Thanks for the reply. I have put "makerunways" version 4.699 into the fsx file, but when I click on it to activate, all I get is a box that says "Failed to make all of the data files", "Failed to make FstarRCRWS file", "Total airports=0, runways=0". This is a mystery to me as I am not very pc literate, it has worked in the past. Can you assist with a solution? I shall be much obliged. Regards Tony Merry

It goes into the FSX folder, where FSX.EXE is run from. It sounds like you have either put it into the wrong place, or you have not actually run FSX itself yet so there's no SCENERY.CFG file for it to read. It does produce a log file called "Runways.txt" which will help me help you. Show me the contents of that. Pete
tonymerry Posted December 17, 2016 Author Report Posted December 17, 2016 Hi Pete Problem solved! The "makerunways" file was in the right FSX file but I think the version I had must have been corrupted somehow. Iput the latest version in again & all works fine now. Many thanks. Tony Merry
