Hello Pete,

I don't recall ever having a problem with my registered version of your fine program.  However, since installing the latest version (after installing the new PMDG 747 version 3), it's been hit or miss with FSX getting me past the error message that I have attached.  I had been clicking "Yes" when I get the message.  Sometimes it would take me into FSX, other times not. My sim worked fine, until I installed this last version.

I've attached a copy of the error message screen. My Windows Log pertaining to the error and my add-ons is provided below. (I hope I've included enough information.  If not, I'm sure you'll let me know!)

Thanks for your help - and an otherwise indispensable program for online flying!

My add-ons:

All PMDG FSX aircraft / Active Sky 2016 and Cloud Art / GSX / Couatl / SODE / Accu-feel / FS-Inn & FS Copilot / Addon Manager / CaptSim 767 / VistaMare / RAAS Professional

Many thanks!,

Done. Thanks! However, from what I see and have been seeing on the www.schiratti.com site, it's not always evident that a new version has been posted.  For instance, today I downloaded 4.962, but the site (under the peter dowson table) lists " Full release of FSUIPC 4 (incorporating WideFS 7) for use with FSX, FSX-SE and Prepar3D January 26th 2017 (3.3 MB)."  Maybe this is not the correct site to monitor the most current version for FSUIPC, I am not certain.  Anyway, for what it's worth, at least from this site, it would be nice if the comment section of the peter dowson table would identify the most current version and its effective date.

Thank again for a great utility for online simmers!

I'd love that too, but it isn't my site, and whilst I can easily update the files it points to, as I do, I can't so easily get the text changed. I have to write to Enrico Schiratti, a very busy man, and wait for him to update it. If I only updated a few times a year like most products that would be fine, but with all the developments going on with P3D and requests I (perhaps foolishly) accede to from users, FSUIPC is updated much more often, even weekly recently.

The best place to check for updates, and especially bug fixes and interim versions (without instller and NOT available through the Schiratti site) is the Download Links subforum here. Sometimes I wish that was the only place, but unfortunately, though a long history, the Schiratti site has become linked to from just about everywhere.

I'll have to cut down on updates and only make one or two a year, even if P3D changes or bugs are discovered. Folks are used to waiting for other products, never for FSUIPC -- except when I'm on holday. ;-)
