Lost control options for buttons

Recommended Posts

Dear all, i would like to ask you for a help. My problem is quite hard to explain in english for me, but I will do my best. I dont know what caused the problem but suddenly I amnot able to choose some of the settings in the field control sent when button pressed. Better said there are not some of the options there were before. For example I amnot able to use button on Saitek yoke for landing gear, I cannot find one for flaps up/down, autopilot on/off...all of these and much more are sudenlly non exists. What is also strange is the fact that if I have some of these in profiles from the past they work in sim but when I open FSUIPC and "test" it, FSUIPC shows number instead of the description of the command (as you can see on attached screenshot.

The only thing I can imagine was cahnged in my configuration was addition of Cobra Defender joystick. It means that now I have Saitek Yoke, Saitek Throttle Quadrant, Saitek Trim Wheel, Arduino based rudders and Defende Cobra joystick. This problem applies to all airplanes and all controllers.

My sim is Prepar 3Dv3, OS is Windows 10 64bit, FSUIPC legaly bought and registered.

I would really appriciate any help. Thank you all in advance.

The names for the controls are obtained from the "CONTROLS.DLL" in P3D, they are not built into FSUIPC. So it sounds as if something has corrupted your P3D installation.

Either that or you are using a version of FSUIPC4 which pre-dates your version of P3D3. To eliminate this as a possibility make sure you are using the current supported versin -- 4.965.

If this does not resove the issue, then show me the FSUIPC4.LOG file from the Modules folder. This is always needed for any support question. It is a text file and you can pasdte its contents into a message here.

Hello Pete, thank you very much. I will check all the stuff and come back with more details.

Thank you for your support.
