FSX hangs

Hi Pete,

Both FSPUIC and WideFS were registered..

FSX hang when I choose for WideFS to run along with FS.

FSX runs fine when I choose not to run WideFS with FSX

I don't see WideF in FSX add-on menu .

Pls help...

What exactly do yo mean by "I choose to run WideFS". What exactly do you think you are running? 

 

WideServer is part of FSUIPC, and if you registered it in the FSUIPC installation process it will be running in any case -- unless you opted to stop it in the About tab in the FSUIPC Options after FSX starts.

There's nothing else to run "along with FS". The other part of WideFS, the WideClient program runs on your client PCs, across your Network.

As I said, and as is made clear in the documnetation, WideServer is part of FSUIPC

And in any case why should it be in the Add-Ons menu?
