enek0id Posted July 8, 2017 Report Posted July 8, 2017 Hi all, I have a problem with the Carenado Bonanza (P3D v4.0.28.21686), the NAV switch does not work. I am using Prepar3D v4 4.0.28.21686 (hotfix) and FSUIPC 5.103e. The hotfix did not fix the issue. I read in this forum that FSUIPC version 5.102a provided a workaround, but I could not find the download link in the DL section of the forum. Is it still possible to have this version of FSUIPC? Many thanks
Thomas Richter Posted July 8, 2017 Report Posted July 8, 2017 Hi, the problem in P3Dv4 was that with FSUIPC5 neither the COM-swap-freq nor the NAV-swap-freq button worked on the Carenado Bonanza GNS430's. Pete did a internal workaround until the Hotfix1 was released and the problem was solved. Just checked to confirm that with FSUIPC5.103e and P3Dv4.0.28.21686 both is still working correct. Also the logging shows the correct events Quote ********* FSUIPC5, Version 5.103e (3rd July 2017) by Pete Dowson ********* Running inside Prepar3D v4 Module base=7FF88EA40000 Windows 10 Pro 64 Bit reported as Build 15063, Release ID: 1703 (OS 10.0) Prepar3D.exe version = 4.0.28.21686 975953 *** EVENT: Cntrl= 65582 (0x0001002e), Param= 0 (0x00000000) COM_RADIO 975953 *** EVENT: Cntrl= 66514 (0x000103d2), Param= 0 (0x00000000) ATC_MENU_CLOSE 975953 *** EVENT: Cntrl= 65538 (0x00010002), Param= 0 (0x00000000) SELECT_1 975953 *** EVENT: Cntrl= 65581 (0x0001002d), Param= 0 (0x00000000) FREQUENCY_SWAP 975953 *** EVENT: Cntrl= 66372 (0x00010344), Param= 0 (0x00000000) COM_STBY_RADIO_SWAP 977594 *** EVENT: Cntrl= 65585 (0x00010031), Param= 0 (0x00000000) NAV_RADIO 977594 *** EVENT: Cntrl= 66514 (0x000103d2), Param= 0 (0x00000000) ATC_MENU_CLOSE 977594 *** EVENT: Cntrl= 65538 (0x00010002), Param= 0 (0x00000000) SELECT_1 977594 *** EVENT: Cntrl= 65581 (0x0001002d), Param= 0 (0x00000000) FREQUENCY_SWAP 977594 *** EVENT: Cntrl= 66448 (0x00010390), Param= 0 (0x00000000) NAV1_RADIO_SWAP 979312 *** EVENT: Cntrl= 65582 (0x0001002e), Param= 0 (0x00000000) COM_RADIO 979312 *** EVENT: Cntrl= 66514 (0x000103d2), Param= 0 (0x00000000) ATC_MENU_CLOSE 979375 *** EVENT: Cntrl= 65539 (0x00010003), Param= 0 (0x00000000) SELECT_2 979375 *** EVENT: Cntrl= 65581 (0x0001002d), Param= 0 (0x00000000) FREQUENCY_SWAP 979375 *** EVENT: Cntrl= 66444 (0x0001038c), Param= 0 (0x00000000) COM2_RADIO_SWAP 980625 *** EVENT: Cntrl= 65585 (0x00010031), Param= 0 (0x00000000) NAV_RADIO 980625 *** EVENT: Cntrl= 66514 (0x000103d2), Param= 0 (0x00000000) ATC_MENU_CLOSE 980625 *** EVENT: Cntrl= 65539 (0x00010003), Param= 0 (0x00000000) SELECT_2 980625 *** EVENT: Cntrl= 65581 (0x0001002d), Param= 0 (0x00000000) FREQUENCY_SWAP 980625 *** EVENT: Cntrl= 66452 (0x00010394), Param= 0 (0x00000000) NAV2_RADIO_SWAP Can you describe more precise your problem. enek0id Posted July 9, 2017 Author Report Posted July 9, 2017 (edited) Dear Thomas, The problem is that the P3D hotfix, in my case, did not fix this issue. Is there any way to get the 5.102a files? Anyway, do I need a registered version of FSUIPC? I have generated a FSUIPC log, this is how it looks. The frequency does not swap actually, while if I delete FSUIPC files inside the Modules folder, it does. Thanks for your help. Thomas Richter Posted July 9, 2017 Report Posted July 9, 2017 Hi, what you show looks exactly like it was before the hotfix. What parts did you update of P3D? Please run a short session and close P3D, when fully closed please copy and paste the full content of the log file to your message or send the log file, but complete please. As long to don't want to use any facility of FSUIPC you don't need a registered version. Thomas
enek0id Posted July 9, 2017 Author Report Posted July 9, 2017 I have performed a repair of the P3D files and it's working now. Thanks for your assistance :) Cheers
Andy ND Posted July 21, 2017 Report Posted July 21, 2017 (edited) I have the same issue caused by FSUIPC V 5.103 @enek0id how did you do the file repair on P3D and why would P3D need to be repaired if FSUIPC causes the problem? Regards Edited July 21, 2017 by Andy ND Typo error Version 5.102 to 5.102
Thomas Richter Posted July 22, 2017 Report Posted July 22, 2017 Hi, 19 hours ago, Andy ND said: I have the same issue caused by FSUIPC V 5.103 @enek0id how did you do the file repair on P3D and why would P3D need to be repaired if FSUIPC causes the problem? There is NO problem caused by FSUIPC5 but it was a BUG in P3D caused by L-M. Also there is no repair needed to get that work, just install the L-M Hotfix for P3Dv4 and update also its Content with latest installer. Thomas
