Hello, I am having a weird issue and I have tracked it down to FSUIPC.

I deleted my p3d and did a clean install but when I install FSUIPC5 it causes P3d to not load the scenario screen yet P3d is still running in Processes when seen through the task manager. When I restore to my restore point just before installing fsuipc it works perfectly.

what is the problem?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

the first problem is that there are no information.

You always need to attach the relevant Log files, in your case the FSUIPC5 Install.log and the FSUIPC5.log files. Both are located in the  \YourP3DFolder\Modules\  folder.

I have a similar problem. My P3D V4 worked fine but my Delta VA client could not find P3D. I was instructed to download and install the latest FSUIPC and did so, now P3D V4 does not open nor run in the task manager. I have tried running as admin as well. I've attached the requested files from the above post.  Thanks for any assistance.

Hi,

1. you didn't install latest P3Dv4.1, you have installed P2Dcv4.0

Quote

Prepar3D.exe version = 4.0.28.21686

2. you installed FSUIPC5.122 but that doesn't work with P3Dv4.0

Prepar3D.exe version = 4.0.28.21686

You need to update to or install P3Dv4.1 to use latest FSUIPC5.122

Ok, installed the latest P3D V4.1. When I restart my computer P3D will start up but there is a blue box(what I presume is an error) that flashes for a millisecond and the program shuts off. I tried to reinstall FSUIPC5 and I get "cannot place FSUIPC5.dll into the modules folder" the error reported is "the process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process".

There are no processes running in task manager. Attached are the files again.
