Not recongnizing buttond/switches

I have P3D V4.2 &  5.123e.  When I press a button it show correct, but does nothing after assigned to some action.

Please be specific. What are you assigning to and what do you expect to happen?

BTW your thread title is wrong. It says "not recognizing buttond/switches, yet you just said it was recognising buttons!

Let me restate then.  In the button/switches page  to the right side, I want to select an action from the drop down list.   It does see the button I select, but doesn't do what I select front the  list.

Never mind, I think it's a P3d problem.
