walt642 Posted March 4, 2018 Report Posted March 4, 2018 I just upgraded Prepar3D To V 4.2. Ever since doing that my rudder goes bonkers. If I turn the rubber to the left or right, it immediately "SNAPS" back to neutral. Sometimes it will stay in neutral and won't move left or right. I've loaded all the latest drivers, recalibrated and recalibrated over and over but no success. Turned Auto Rudder on AND off to see if that was the problem. Still the same. If I can get just this one problem corrected, I will be very happy with the new P3D V 4.2 update.
Thomas Richter Posted March 4, 2018 Report Posted March 4, 2018 Hi, seems you have a second axis defined to the Rudder that is centered. Make sure Controllers are disabled in P3D when defining axes in FSUIPC. The setting in P3Dv4 for that is on Controllers page and then press on bottom left Others Thomas
walt642 Posted March 4, 2018 Author Report Posted March 4, 2018 Tom, A sincere "Thank You" for your help. I think you fixed it for me. That means a lot to an old man like me. Again, Thank you. Keep flying high.
walt642 Posted March 5, 2018 Author Report Posted March 5, 2018 Problem solved..... Thank You to those who replied. What I ended up doing was to go into my prepar3dV4 "module folder". Deleted all the files that were" in the module folder" and then reinstall FSUIPC5. Everything seems to be working perfectly now. Again thank you all for your help.
