Dave B Posted June 29, 2018 Report Posted June 29, 2018 I've started using FUSIPC 4.974 for all of my flight control. I've successfully configured my Saitek yoke, rudders and throttle quadrant. I'm running with the FSX controllers disabled. Today I started on my Thrustmaster T.1600M joystick and TWCS throttle. The throttle is recognized and seems to work fine, but the joystick is not recognized. None of the switches or axis are seen by FUSIPC. I enabled the controllers in FSX and it sees the joystick with no problem. I had previously installed the Thrustmaster drivers, so removed those with the same result. I ran JoyID's and it shows the joystick. Attached are the FSUIPC4.ini, FSUIPC4.JoyScan.csv and FSUIPC4.log Please let me know if you need any more information. Thanks,, Dave FSUIPC4.ini FSUIPC4.JoyScan.csv FSUIPC4.log

The problem appears to be that both the Throttle and the T.1600M are assigned the same JoystickID, 0. I assume this was imposed on the throttle previously. It should be 3. Either use JoyIDs to change the TWCS ID to 3, ir edit your INI file to change it in [JoyNames], thus: 3=TWCS Throttle 3.GUID={3839EDD0-1652-11E8-8001-444553540000} If you do the latter you'll need to change the assignments you made to the Throttle axes and buttons too. To avoid such problems when IDs change you should be using oy Letters. If you don't want to set your own letters, as shown in the User Guide, just change AutoAssignLetters=No to Yes. Then run the Sim to get the existing assignments changed to the letters, THEN you can safely change IDs for future sessions. Pete
Dave B Posted June 29, 2018 Author Report Posted June 29, 2018 Thanks very much. I changed the TWCS ID to 3 as you suggested and that resolved the problem. I'll take a look at the User Guide for Joy Letters. I appreciate your quick response. Dave
