guamacho Posted October 14, 2003 Report Posted October 14, 2003 Hello It's me again well I register my squawbox and my serviinfo and everething, but I'm still getting the same mistake It does not matter in which airport I'm there always the same controllers in my ATC, one from unicode or something and other that does not even show the frequency is like xxx vatsim. also When I try to connect to vatsim a windows show up saying you are running applications that are no possible with an unregistered FSUIPC. I'm really do know what to do and I really want to be part of an virtual airline and if I cannot connect to vatsim I will not able. Please somebody help me. I REALLY WANT TO FIX MY PROBLEM. :?: :?: :?: :?:
Pete Dowson Posted October 14, 2003 Report Posted October 14, 2003 Show me the FSUIPC.LOG file. Tell me what you did to register Squawkbox. I really don't know anything about on-line flying or what you need, but I can check if you have done the right things for FSUIPC. There is a lot more to it than FSUIPC, however. Regards, Pete P.S. After tomorrow (Wednesday) I am away for 8 days -- back on the 24th October. So if you are not fixed up soon I hope others will be able to help you.
guamacho Posted October 14, 2003 Author Report Posted October 14, 2003 Well, I Register my squawbon by taking the free key from the forum I went into the fight simulator modules and I click to FSUIPC and then I click in register an application porgram or something like that then it asked me the name of the program and I put squawbox.exe and the key It asked to confirm and i did. and that's all. Where I can FSUIPC.LOG. THANKS
Pete Dowson Posted October 14, 2003 Report Posted October 14, 2003 I click in register an application porgram or something like that then it asked me the name of the program and I put squawbox.exe It needs the name only, the part before the .exe bit, so you enter Squawkbox, not Squawkbox.exe. It does actually say "(before the .exe part)" on the screen. Where I can FSUIPC.LOG. In the FS modules folder, along with FSUIPC.DLL, FSUIPC.INI and FSUIPC.KEY. Regards, Pete
