Uteman Posted December 22, 2018 Report Posted December 22, 2018 (edited) Hello Peter, I updated P3D to 4.4 a couple of days ago and as result FSUIPC stopped working. I checked to see is a new version existed and found 5.15 (was previously 5.12). I installed and the log is below: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Installer for FSUIPC5.DLL version 5.15 Looking in registry for Prepar3D v4 install path: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4 Parameter"AppPath" ... >>> OK! (result code 10) *************** End of Install Log *************** On startup the installer popped up as always with registration window and I chose check existing registration as I have done in the past and an error window Code 10 appeared stating FSUIP entry does not exist. My FSUIPC5. key file is residing in J:\Prepar3d\modules and has a file date of 21/11/2017. I would appreciate some advice on what I have done wrong and how to restore my registration in the FSUIPC menu window. Cheers Alex PS. Prepar3d.cfg file is located in C:\Users\Alex\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3d v4 Edited December 22, 2018 by Uteman added cfg file location PS
John Dowson Posted December 22, 2018 Report Posted December 22, 2018 Hi, did you try starting P3D and checking if FSUIPC is registered? If you key file is still in the modules folder it will check the registration when you start P3D.
John Dowson Posted December 22, 2018 Report Posted December 22, 2018 By the way, the key file should be in J:\Lockheed Martin\Modules and not 'J:\Prepar3d\modules' as mentioned....

John, thank you this alerted me to the problem and it now comes up registered after copying the key file into it. I suspect I have a bigger problem because I appear to have created two installs of P3D with the update to 4.4. Cheers for the quick reply and Merry Christmas to you.
