Your joystick/device ids may have changed, so FSUIPC will not find your assignments/calibration for that device if you have not used the 'Joy Letters' facility. John

riccardo Posted May 10, 2019 Author Report Posted May 10, 2019 yes i had unpluggin device ,i unplug device every times i turn off theme before i turn off my pc, anyway i re installed fsuipc and now i ve just 3 macro, i supposed i leaved old fsuipc installed on modules folder, now when i assign some button to function look like worling on but in the past after 5/10 minute macro i assigned disappear from menu in fsuipc prepar3d option meantime in modules folder they were there in my modules folder now there is: fsuipc documents fp1(marco assign from me) fsuipc5 install fsuipc5.dll fsuipc5(ini) fsuipc.joyscan.csv fsuipc5.key fsuipc(txt file) strobegiu(,marco assign from me)

John Dowson Posted May 10, 2019 Report Posted May 10, 2019 I still need to see the entire ini. You seem to have a lot of devices, and if you are unplugging and re-plugging them in a lot, their ids will change. You really need to use the 'Joy Letters' (or JoyNames) facility if you are doing this (see p21 in the User Guide). It is possible to recoup your current settings, but you would need to identify which device is which from your ini settings, which may prove difficult with so many devices. If you can do this, you can then manually force the id change by updating the ids in the ini file. You also have a lot of assignments to unidentified macros. Where are these from? If not needed, you should delete all of these (i.e. those assigned to '<unknown macro>'). The different log files also show you have different devices connected when you are posting these. It is very difficult for me to determine anything if your configuration is changing all the time. Can you please keep the same config while we try and sort out your problems. John
John Dowson Posted May 10, 2019 Report Posted May 10, 2019 Also, previously 10 macros, now 3? What are you actually doing? I think maybe you need to reset (i.e. start from scratch), and re-assign. If you do this, please activate Joy Letters before you do so (or after, before you disconnect your usb devices!). And with macros, please remove references to them in your assignments before you remove the macro file. John

John Dowson Posted May 10, 2019 Report Posted May 10, 2019 If thats the ini file now, then you have reset, no? There are no assignments there (apart from a few macro assignments to buttons). Quote what do you mean with activate joy letters Change AutoAssignLetters=No to AutoAssignLetters=Yes or manually assign. As I said, please review the user manual to understand this. I will be making this a default value in a future release as its quite a common problem. The only advantage of 'No' is that it allows the user to assign the letters, which may have a relevant meaning (e.g. 'T' for throttle' 'R' for rudder, etc). For the people who don't manually edit the ini file, this is not relevant. John

John Dowson Posted May 11, 2019 Report Posted May 11, 2019 Glad its now working for you. 127 is the limit for macro files. The general idea with macros is to try and have only a few macro files per aircraft, split by functional groups. Macro files can hold multiple macros, with a maximum of 2000 numbered parameters per macro file. You should try merging your macros into fewer files before using them for assignments.
