BlueBloodgz Posted May 15, 2019 Report Posted May 15, 2019 Trying the run command in WideClient.ini, for the JeeHell FMGS start program, the starter.exe /starterengrun.exe. Manually run the exe file, everything is OK, but if include it in run option at wildclient.ini. It's not work, seems some function by starter.exe/starterengrun.exe can not be done. Anyone have try it? Thanks.

If you make a desktop shortcut for it, what does it look like? (Right-click - Properties - Link). Pete

Pete Check the shortcut, please see the attached. this starter.exe will call up other programs, like pfd, nd, mcdu, fomcdu, widefmgs...... etc. double click this shortcut, or directly run starter.exe, all is ok. but include the starter.exe in wideclient.ini, starter.exe is running, but follow up the mcdu/fomcdu have error message popup, and widefmgs cannot be call up totally. don't know why.

You didn't need to post a picture, just copy (select and copy, as in copy and paste) the "Target" field. What is the actual entry you have in the Run parameter. In your original message here you said "starter.exe /starterengrun.exe", but that Properties entry only has "starter.exe"., so you aren't doing the same thing in FSUIPC. And you never mentioned an error message. Is it from that program? What does it say? Can you ask the support for the program (JeeHell?) what might be going on? Could it be related to privilege levels? i.e. is it marked to "run as administrator"? Because if so, and it needs that, then for FSUIPC to run it the same P3D/FSX would have to be run "as administrator". Pete
