Hi at all,
I am newbie.
I and my father want automatizate the our throttle of Boeing 737.
The problem is to automatizate the "Wheel Trim".
I have found into FSUIPC SDK the list of offset usable.
For the test I use FSX with FSUIPC version 4.70b and the last versione of pfcfsx.dll.
After change the simulator with P3DV4, obviously I will have to change the dll.
The offset that I want used is 3371 of 1 byte.
Into FSUIPC into section "Logging" I have specified the offset 3371 with type U8 and display to FS Windows.
The value is 240 and not 0 for off, 1 for up and 2 for down and if I move the "Wheel Trim" the value not move.
Can anyone tell me where i'm wrong?
Thanks
Best Regard

Do you mean to make a a MOUSE wheel operate the elevator trim?  If so, FSUIPC provides such an option -- see the "Miscellanous" tab in the FSUIPC options.

Version 4.70b is very much out of date. Please update to the latest version of FSUIPC4. We cannot support old versions.

So you are trying to do what, exactly? I don't remember exactly what that offset represents, but it is just an indicator that the motorized trim wheel is operating. Do you have a PFC unit with motorized trim wheel?

3371 is to do with motor action, as it says. I'm not sire you moving the wheel is relevant.

What exactly are you trying to do? If you can explain then perhaps i can help. but first download the current version of FSUIPC4 (see FSUIPC.COM) and install that.

Dear Mr. Dowson,

I guess I didn't explain myself well, I am sorry.

We want move with a servo 360 degree the "Wheel Elevator Trim" and I have read this:

3370 4 Four single byte PFC driver “alive” counters:
3370 = COM port read thread alive and running
3371 = Elevator trim motor action (0=off, 1=up, 2=dn)
3372 = COM port write thread alive
3373 = Main FS chain alive
N.B. without the mn FS chain running the other three aren’t
maintained in any case, so mean nothing.

We don't have Precision Flight Controls unit.

We have homemade Elevator Trim Wheel

Thanks in advance

Best regards

So those values don't apply. They are set by the PFC driver which is specific to the PFC hardware unit with the motorized trim wheel.
