Hello Pete

Thanks for an excellent program.

I'm very sorry if I'm overlooking an existing thread, by I didn't find one, although it may very well exist.

I am moving from FSX to FSX:SE, and I here find that the throttle (main, page 1) has center value, 0 at axis "center"-mid range, moving to 16xxx pluss and minus at respective ends.

I find your references to the the  "no-reverse" regarding individual throttles (page3-5), but I can find no way to "remove" the center value from the main throttle. What am I overlooking?

Please advise.

best regards

As far as FSUIPC settings are concerned, they are identical.

The generic all-engine throttle operates from Idle to Full thrust. if you assign to the standard FS control, Axis throttle set, then the range it needs is -16384 for idle through to +16383 for full thrust. The zero centre value has no special meaning.

The "centre" value has no meaning for the generic throttle, the one on page 1, assigning to Axis throttle set. The separate engine throttle controls used by FSUIPC are normally the "ThrottleN set" controls, not the standard FS "Axis throttleN set" controls. The former ones have a range 0 fror idle to +16383 for full thrust. The negative values provide reverse thrust.

For your purposes there is no meaning for "the centre value" and therefore no need to "remove" it!

None of this is any different in FSX-SE that it was in FSX, nor, in fact, as it is in P3D.
