Checking version of the FSX EXE:

Checking compatibility with installed SimConnect:
    Looking for SimConnect.dll with "C:\Windows\WinSxS\Fusion\*SimConnect*"
    Looking for SimConnect.dll with "C:\Windows\WinSxS\*SimConnect*10.0.60905.0*"
Found the path, now trying "C:\Windows\WinSxS\x86_microsoft.flightsimulator.simconnect_67c7c14424d61b5b_10.0.60905.0_none_dd92b94d8a196297\SimConnect.dll"
Found SimConnect build 10.0.60905.0
    Looking for SimConnect.dll with "C:\Windows\WinSxS\Fusion\*SimConnect*"
    Looking for SimConnect.dll with "C:\Windows\WinSxS\*SimConnect*10.0.62607.0*"

Checking if there's already a version of FSUIPC4 installed in:
       C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Modules\FSUIPC4.DLL
... No previous valid version found.
FSX Modules folder already exists.
Okay -- installed FSUIPC4 into "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Modules\FSUIPC4.DLL"
Looking for the current user's Application Data path:
... found as "C:\Users\Armada2017\AppData\Roaming"
Now finding \Microsoft\FSX\FSX.CFG for all users, including this one
Looking in "C:\Users\All Users\AppData\Roaming"
 ... No FSX.CFG there
Looking in "C:\Users\Armada2017\AppData\Roaming"
Found FSX.CFG in "C:\Users\Armada2017\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX\FSX.CFG"
Now checking DLL.XML ...
... There is a previous DLL.XML, checking for FSUIPC4 section.
... FSUIPC4 section already exists but will be replaced.
     (for FSUIPC4, without Loader)
... FSUIPC4 section of DLL.XML written okay
Now checking for a SimConnect.XML file ...

===========================================================

All installer tasks completed.
Registration dialog 'not now' selected

You are using the very first buggy release of FSX. The first thing you need to do is update it. There was an SP! release a few months later, then an SP2 about 18 months later (as far as I recall). I think both are still available on-line, so download and install the SP2 update. Then try again.

If there's still a problem then, we need different information. You only supplied the Install log for FSUIPC, so it doesn't really help. You need to describe what you mean by "doesn't start", and also look in the Modules folder to see if FSUIPC made a Log file. If so, that is the log we need to see, not the Install log.

If there is no log then you need to use the Event Viewer in Windows to see what might be responsible for crashing the sim.

But update FSX first. Also make sure you are using the latest release of FSUIPC4. Unfortunately to cut the start off the Log so I can't tell which version you tried.

Pete
