I have been reading forums and trying everything, regarding the random disconnect/freeze of the Saitek Pro Yoke I have.  Drivers, power management in Windows..nothing helps.  The only thing left to try is an external USB hub, next week when I can find one.  Since the disconnect occurs when I play around with the Yoke, banking hard or  pitching up/down, I thought perhaps- maybe- it had to do with calibration, FSUIPC? Or FSUIPC could actually help solve? Perhaps any experts here, would have a clue.  The disconnects happen as I bank, or pitch,  (the green led light on the front never goes off and by the way, for months now, the time never shows as before), and pausing the sim, unplugging the USB and reinserting it, solves the freeze, until it happens again.

What could it be??  Sims  are Prepar3d and FSX...

Any help to solve this would so greatly be appreciated!  Greetings from Chile.

Assuming it is plugged into an old-type (black) USB socket, this sounds exactly like a loose connection somewhere. even a very short-lived temporary disconnection with disconnect because it will disrupt the protocol. Reconnecting re-iniitialises the protocol sequences.

But anyway, first try a different USB socket (making sure you choose an older type one -- not one of the new Blue or Red ones). Then, if it is replaceable,  try first replacing the USB lead. After that it gets more difficult as it could be an internal connection.

The one thing it won't be is FSUIPC settings or its or other calibration.

Thank you for your comment, Pete.   I tried other usb ports, black 2.0, yes.   I think it may be a driver issue.- Been reading online, will try a driver called Madcatz for Saitek Pro.   Maybe that cures it.  Connections and USB plugs are in good condition.
