moving from FS9 to FSX

I have decided to finally try FSX and when I downloaded FSUIPC/WIDEFS versions for FSX and tried to register using the keys I had from FS9, it rejected the keys for both products.

Am I required to purchase new keys for FSUIPC4 and the equivalent WIDEFS.

Please note the name and e-mail registered for the FS9 version I have used for years is not the same as the one I am using for this forum but are the ones I used as per instructions when I tried to register.

Both FSUIPC4 and WideFS7 require a new license, available from SimMarket.
