gcmoir Posted October 15, 2020 Report Posted October 15, 2020 Windows 10, P3D V4, PMDG B737NGXu, Latest version FSUIPC registered. Apologies if this has been covered before and I'm sure it has but I cannot find directly related info. I have Saitek throttle quadrant which works perfectly for controlling the individual throttles. I have just built a new throttle quadrant which will still use the Saitek unit for the throttles but now has separate levers and pots for the reverse thrust. How do I configure these reverse thrust pots to be active through FSUIPC and still maintain the Saitek throttles setup and calibrated within P3D. I have been trying to do this following the axis assignment and joystick calibration instructions but just can’t get it to work. I can get the reversers to move but I lose control of the throttles. Thanks for any guidance.

You should not mix assignments between P3D and FSUIPC. Use one or the other. If assigning in FSUIPC, disable controllers completely in P3D (there's an option in P3D to do this). If you don't you will get interference. I think the PMDG aircraft are designed in such a way that reverse control does not work well on an axis. Most folks use the "THROTTLEn DECR" controls to engage reverse after reducing thrust to idle on the throttle. If you want to use separate levers for reversers then you can try assigning the forward thrust throttle levers to the normal "AXIS THROTTLEn SET" controls, and either don't calibrate (calibration can mess up things with PMDG aircraft), or if you try calibration in FSUIPC set the "No reverse zone" option so the whole axis is for forward thrust. Reversers can then be assigned the FSUIPC-added controls "REVERSERn". Pete
