Ron Attwood Posted November 15, 2020 Report Posted November 15, 2020 Is it possible to have an option to not minimise to the system tray on starting FSUIPC7?

I could add such an option. At the moment its tied to the 'Auto-Connect to FS' option, so if you disable that it will start maximised. John
Ron Attwood Posted November 15, 2020 Author Report Posted November 15, 2020 Actually, that does the job, thanks. The reason I asked was because I sometimes forget to start FSUIPC until the sim has started in full screen and the system tray is hidden resulting in a bit of a faff. Just to make sure, it will connect to the sim when it loads an aircraft, or before? I'll have another go and watch carefully.

You can only connect once FSUIPC7 has detected MSFS is running, and you can connect as soon as MSFS' SimConnect interface is ready, which occurs sometime during loading. However, if connecting manually, best to do it once MSFS has loaded and is on the home screen. You don't have to have an aircraft loaded, although other things (e.g. WideServer, luas, etc) won't be started until an aircraft is loaded.
Ron Attwood Posted November 15, 2020 Author Report Posted November 15, 2020 Yes, it's not quite what I thought it would be, but it'll do until you can rework it maybe?
