westes Posted November 2, 2003 Report Posted November 2, 2003 Will there be an update to FStarRC that allows FliteStar or FliteMap to generate flightplans for use with FS2004?
Pete Dowson Posted November 2, 2003 Report Posted November 2, 2003 Will there be an update to FStarRC that allows FliteStar or FliteMap to generate flightplans for use with FS2004? Don't they already? I wasn't aware there was any change in the format. In fact I'm sure I've loaded them on FS2004 already. Can you elucidate please? Regards, Pete
westes Posted November 2, 2003 Author Report Posted November 2, 2003 Peter, I haven't downloaded or tried out FStarRC yet. You should probably update the description of the utility, which today references FS2002 not FS2004.
Pete Dowson Posted November 3, 2003 Report Posted November 3, 2003 Peter, I haven't downloaded or tried out FStarRC yet. You should probably update the description of the utility, which today references FS2002 not FS2004. Sorry, so many things to do, not enough hours. And it's a separate utility with more dependence on releases of FliteStar and FliteMap than FS. If I had to update it specifically for FS2004 I would have changed the documentation and everything. But no such change was needed so I didn't. Regards, Pete
Keith Cocker Posted November 3, 2003 Report Posted November 3, 2003 Hi, Works fine for me for FS2004. I just changed the reference in the ini file to the new FS2004 location for Flight Plans. Best wishes Keith Cocker
