Offset control for sound volume levels

Anyone found offset locations for control of the individual sound volumes provided under "Options | Settings | Sound..." in FS2002/4?

Specifically the contol of the engine volume level I'm looking for. Seen offset 3B88 but appears only relevant to recipricating engines, not jets.

Not much more is "findable" in the old sense. FS2002 uses GLOBALS.DLL but a little and FS2004 even less. To provide offsets for such control someone would have to hack the sound subsystem. It isn't easy anymore, what with C++ and the convoluted code the Class system produces.
