Bandas Posted March 1, 2021 Report Posted March 1, 2021 Hi, I try use for the first time MCP Combo with MSFS. So far I am not able to run FSUIPC. I tried to find the answer here, but no luck. I have MS store eddition of MSFS and downloaded FSUIPC7. Instalation was succesful, but when I run MSFS, only MSFS runs as before the instalation of FSUIPC. When I try to double click the icon (FSUIPC for MSFS) the only think it does it runs Steam application.... What do I do wrong?

Sounds like the installer determined that you have a steam install rather than an MS Store install. Did you run MSFS at least once before trying to install FSUIPC? If not, try re-installing to see if that fixes it. Otherwise, show me you InstallFSUIPC7.log file, as well as a FSUIPC7.log file.
Bandas Posted March 1, 2021 Author Report Posted March 1, 2021 Somehow, after another instalation it kind of works. When I firstly run MSFS and then run FSUIPC, it will connect. The only problem is, when I want to run MSFS by clicking FSUIPC icon for MSFS. In that case, Steam will run.... FSUIPC7.log InstallFSUIPC7.log
John Dowson Posted March 1, 2021 Report Posted March 1, 2021 Did you used to have a steam install by any chance? It seems that the installer thinks that you have a steam install as it has found this file: C:\Users\miros\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\UserCfg.opt That shouldn't be there, as your UserCfg.opt file for MS Store installs is C:\Users\miros\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\UserCfg.opt (or maybe under LocalState rather than LocalCache) Please check those locations. Then you can either: - remove the UserCfg.opt under C:\Users\miros\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\ and re-install FSUIPC7, or - move the file C:\Users\miros\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\EXE.xml to the folder C:\Users\miros\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\ (or LocalState, depending upon where your UserCfg.opt file is located).
Bandas Posted March 1, 2021 Author Report Posted March 1, 2021 I didn't have a steam instal so have no idea where it gets there.... Anyway your advice to delete the file and reinstall solve the issue and now it works as intended. Thank you very much.
