mouse problem in xp/advdisp

you may already know this, but i saw it mentioned in the latest version zip file so i thought i'd mention it.

moved to new computer with xp (had win98). fs2002 all worked fine. suddenly had problems when advdisp window displayed-

jerky mouse movement, framerate from 29 to 3. if stopped using mouse, framerate back to 29. with mouse in advdisp window, pointer movement smooth, framerate back up.

tried everything. remembered i loaded logitech mouse software (wasn't installed with computer, dell 8300). as last resort, removed logitech mouse software. problem solved. only thing i lost is using wheel as double-click.

I've also had some problems in the past with Logitech mouse drivers. I always use the default Windows ones these days. I don't know what they are doing. The problems I remember weren't in AdvDisplay though, they affected quite a few things when FS was running.
