FSUIPC 6 - Installation terminated abruptly

Tried to install FSUIPC 6 but the installation process terminated abruptly. There is no folder created nor any installation log created. The termination process was simply crashed to desktop. Can anyone please help?

Did you get any errors? Can you check the windows event viewer please and see if there is a crash report there, and if so show it to me.

Problems with installation are usually due to nor having the correct VC++ redistributables installed.  Try uninstalling any of the VC++ redistributables you have installed from 2015, 2017 or 2019, and then download and install the combined packages (both x64 and x86) from https://support.microsoft.com/en-in/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads. Then try again.

Still doesn't work after reinstalling the VC++ per your suggestion.

Hi John,

An invalid reference to Onedrive is the culprit. 

Once the registry was removed, the installation ran smoothly.

Then it is probably the same issue, no? i.e. an invalid OneDrive registry entry - maybe @SaganLo can advise on how he solved this, although it was over three years ago..

That is NOT the recommended location - that location should be used for the add-on.xml file only. It is recommended to install in a non-windows folder, e.g. C:\FSUIPC6, or C:\P3D-AddOns/FSUIPC6.
