Hello simmers!

Anyone knows how to get departure and destination airport data like ICAO, height... with fsuipc7 and MSFS?

I am using the stock C208 with the stock WT Mxi mod.

I also cant see any HVar when trying to load them with fsuipc.

hvars are only known to FSUIPC7 if you make them available via a *.hvar file, where the name of the file is a substring match to the aircraft name. Please see the Advanced User guide for details.

The destination airport ID should be available if you have a flight plan active in the GPS at offset 0x6137, but no other details (height, etc) are available, and there is no way to get the departure airport as far as I am aware, sorry.

in found this page: https://docs.flightsimulator.com/html/Content_Configuration/Flights_And_Missions/Flight_Definitions.htm - What will it tell us under: [ATC_ActiveFlightPlan.N] - should this be made in the future - or do we allready have it?

Hello John!

Thx - i see - now i get my DEP - DEST information after saving my flightplan with pilot2atc - reading the latest file with lua and thats it! Another question - is there a possibility to show ° degree symbol with wnd.text?

Have you tried just pasting the character into the string,  e,g,
   wnd.text(wHandle, "Its " .. todaysTemp .. "° today.")

Don't see why that won't work, it is just an an ascII character after all.

Or am I missing something?

Hello John!

I tried to do it as you said - pasting it in - but its not showing - if i put it in between two ' ' it will show like this - with a space in between!

i did this: wnd.text(wl, 11, "DEG: '°'") and it shows like this degree.jpg.7a77774c06cf4c01817229e9575ecba3.jpg
