wingclip Posted October 16, 2022 Report Posted October 16, 2022 Hi folks, I know I haven't downloaded the latest version of FSUIPC recently. I used to have Windows 7 Home 64bit and FSX as a flight sim and a purchased version of FSUIPC. I'm reasonably certain that the flight sim version itself isn't a problem, but what about the upgraded Windows 10 version? I built a new computer and Upgraded the O/S to Windows 10 Pro 64bit. I'm only now getting back into the flight sim hobby and I think I can make my controller setup a bit simpler and more accurate if I install FSUIPC. Which brings me to the question, will I need to re-purchase FSUIPC for Windows 10 and/or FS 2020, or is the FSUIPC I purchased good for the Windows 10 and any flight sim? Thank you, Rich
John Dowson Posted October 16, 2022 Report Posted October 16, 2022 No. Different versions of FSUIPC support different flight simulators, and each version requires its own license. For FSX, you used FSUIPC4. For MSFS2020, you will need FSUIPC7, which requires a new/different license. Before purchasing a license for FSUIPC7, you can try it using the trial license which is available in a sticky post at the top of this sub-forum. John 1
