cyclops365 Posted December 17, 2022 Report Posted December 17, 2022 Hello all. Since reinstalling everything flightsim, I am experiencing maximum sensitivity on my toe brakes on my Saitek Rudder pedals. Just lightly tapping them sends a signal to put the brakes on. I have forgotten how to get them where for example 50% will give 50% brakes. Could anyone help please?
John Dowson Posted December 20, 2022 Report Posted December 20, 2022 What FS and version of FSUIPC are you using? How have you assigned your toe brakes? Please show me your ini file. Also, if your issue is that the toe brakes are either fully on or off it could be a registry issue - please see the following FAQ entry: John
cyclops365 Posted December 20, 2022 Author Report Posted December 20, 2022 Hi John, thanks for the reply. It's P3D v5 (latest version) and FSUIPC 6.0.1.0. I've assigned the toe brakes using "Axis assignment" as I had before. I will try the registry editor later. Quote LeftBrake=-16383,16384/16 RightBrake=-16383,16384/16

That version is quite old - only the latest version is supported, which is 6.1.9 - please update when you get a chance. Also, please attach your FSUIPC6.ini if you need further assistance, rather than pasting extracts. John
cyclops365 Posted December 21, 2022 Author Report Posted December 21, 2022 Now Toe brakes are reversed 😐
John Dowson Posted December 22, 2022 Report Posted December 22, 2022 Then reverse them... You can do this in the calibration section/tab (in page 2 for toe brakes). Note that if you have assigned with 'Direct to FSUIPC Calibration' then you must calibrate anyway, so do that. If you have assigned with 'Send to FS as normal axis' then you can either calibrate and reverse in FSUIPC calibration, or scale the toe brake axis by -1 by adding ,*-1 to the end of the toe brake assignment lines in your FSUIPC7.ini (do this when FSUIPC7 is not running) - see the .section Additional parameters to scale input axis values in the Advanced User guide for further details on this method.
