787-10/787-9 CDU/FMC/MFD Buttons

Hi,

I wonder if there is any way to access the i.ex. INIT button in the glass cockpit style touch display CDU/FMC of the 787-900.

The mobiflight presets show only options for the "real" buttons, like H:AS01B_FMC_1_BTN_NEXTPAGE but nothing like H:AS01B_FMC_1_BTN_INIT or similar. Is there any way to access these "soft" keys programmatically?

There is such a button for the 747 - B747_8_FMC_1_BTN_INIT using H:B747_8_FMC_1_BTN_INIT. You could look at the model behavior of the aircraft to see if there is anything similar for the 787-900. Otherwise such questions on presets/calc. code for specific aircraft functions should be directed to the community via the MobiFlight Discord server, using the MSFS2020 channel.

Are you using the free 747-9 mod from Horizon Simulations? I do not have this installed at the moment, but could possibly install and take a look later in the week. But the MF MS2020 channel would be your best bet for such questions - and please also update here if you find a solution.

yes, its about the Horizon 787-9.

I didnt find anything in the Model Debug of MSFS yet. So I quoted my question to the mobiflight discord ... Let's see if anyone has a solution.

Just for updating: Nobody knowing on the Mobiflight Discord also. So I guess it's just not possible (yet) until they perhaps some day make it accessible ...

Yes - I took a look at the input events in the model behavior panels and also couldn't see anything, and I saw your post on the MF discord channel.
You could try asking in the Horizon Simulations discord channel (https://discord.com/invite/Peyby68DTs), and If this is currently not supported they may enable this in a future update.
