Marcolinno Posted February 3 Report Posted February 3 Hello Pete , Since i installed the new version of fsuipc yesterday as requested when i loaded up my flight last night 02-02-24 . Since then my parking break does not work any more on my cockpit for you b737 throttle . This throttle uses FSUIPC . I have seen several people having this problem on prosim . here is what they wrote . ( can you please look in to this ) Regards , Marco . ( Yesterday evening I had time to deal with the issue of the parking brake not working. I solved it and was very amazed at the cause. I then used the forum search and I read that some users probably had the same problem. Not in connection with the throttle, but that other programs didn't run smoothly. But so far it has never occurred. It's due to FSUIPC and the start with MSFS. So far I have started MSFS and FSUIPC starts in the background. This continues to happen, BUT it doesn't seem to work. I have disconnected and reconnected FSUIPC via the system tray. Then the parking brake light came on and I was able to set the parking brake. Since I did a firmware update of the pokey card and also replaced the parking brake servo, I would never have thought to check FSUIPC for correct connection. Long story short. It's working again... And thank you very much for the great support here. à .
John Dowson Posted February 3 Report Posted February 3 Can you please show me/attach your FSUIPC7.log and FSUIPC7.ini files, the former showing your issue (i.e. set logging for Events and Buttons & Keys, and press the button assigned to the parking break and then exit).

Sure, here you are . Regards Marco here is the link for the software i use for the throttle, its interacts and assign fsuipc automatique . I think you have the same one : https://cockpitforyou.com/epages/2c95f1b7-0292-44fb-beed-ddf57573f479.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/2c95f1b7-0292-44fb-beed-ddf57573f479/Categories/update Edited February 3 by Marcolinno
John Dowson Posted February 3 Report Posted February 3 First, you have no assignments whatsoever in FSUIPC7 - neither axes or button assignments. How is your parking brake assigned? Your log file does show issues - did you manually disconnect and reconnect, or was this automatic? Those entries show FSUIPC7 stopping after 20 seconds, connecting again then stopping after 3 seconds, then connecting again. Do you know why? Can you add the following to the [General] section of your FSUIPC7.ini file: TestOptions=x800 and activate logging for Events and generate another log file. Just load your aircraft, wait a minute or so, then test your parking brake assignment, then exit FSUIPC7 before attaching your log file. Please also explain how your parking brake is assigned. If using an FSUIPC offset, you should add logging for that offset (maybe offset 0x0BC8 as U16).

Hello pete Everything is automatique with the CFY driver i dont have to assign a thing , It was working up to yesterday with the old fsuipc . Since i updated to the new version of fsuipc , the parking break does not work any more but all the rest does i will restart the sim and send you another log . Edited February 3 by Marcolinno
John Dowson Posted February 3 Report Posted February 3 What was the previous version of FSUIPC that you were using? There are very few changes between 7.4.5 and 7.4.4, and nothing that could affect this. And I know nothing about the CFY driver - does this use FSUIPC? If not, your issue lies elsewhere... Can you please answer my questions and follow the advice in my previous post. And its John, not Pete...Pete retired 5 years ago now.... John

So yes, i disconnected a couple of times to see if by reconnecting it works . Here are the new log files . I used the version 7.4.5 and everything was working. But that is the current/latest version - are you saying it is now working? If not, what was the version previously installed that WAS working? Your log file shows no issues, but shows that you did not add the testoptions logging, as asked for, and you also attached the log file when FSUIPC7 was still running. Please ALWAYS exit FSUIPC7 before attaching log files. As I have no idea how your parking brake is assigned, I need to know the version you previously used when this was working, and then to look at any changes between that and the current/latest version to see what has changed that could possibly affect this. John Ok sorry about that , I was using the version just befour this one so 7.4.7 . I have updated 3 times fsuipc in the last 2 years and never had a issue with the throttel . its possible it can be a hardware issus , I am just trying to narrow down the problem . So to be clear with the latest realise of fsuipc 7.4.5 everything works ' flaps throttle levers trim ect ect ) expect the parking break . With the version 7.4.4 everything was working. Regards , Marco

John Dowson Posted February 6 Report Posted February 6 @Marcolinno Does your parking brake work with 7.4.4?
