Kimchi Posted April 5 Report Posted April 5 Hi, im a very satisfied user using FSUIPC. Brings my hardware alive! I Use FSUIPC 7.4.11 together with the trustmaster boeing yoke and the trustmaster airbus pack for the PMDG and i have programmed a lot of events which workded flawless in the previous FSUIPC verisons. Since 7.4.11 weird things are happening. For expample: the fuel cut off levers suddenly switched from left to right and from direction. So cut off lever 1 has become 2 and 2 has become 1. And Idle has become cut off and cut off has become idle. I have checked FSUIPC and everything is programmed the right way. I deleted the programmed buttons and programmed them again. After programming i came back into my PMDG which was started up for engine start and i heard one loud click and the whole cockpit went cold and dark. I loaded the runway cockpit state in the PMDG menu but the buttons still function the wrong way. I have checked if the buttons were assigned in MSFS but they are not. FSUIPC7.ini
John Dowson Posted April 5 Report Posted April 5 The changes in 7.4.11 were minimal - the only change was to change the default value of the InitialStallTime ini parameter that was reduced by too much in 7.4.10 and was causing issues. The MobiFlight events.txt (that holds the preset definitions) was also updated, but I doubt very much that these presets were changed. The PMDG presets mainly use the PMDG custom control numbers, which also will not have changed. So I have no idea what could cause this. It is also difficult for me to diagnose without seeing your original ini and a log file. So I cannot check what has changed, only if you have any issues with your current configuration. Do you? 2 hours ago, Kimchi said: After programming i came back into my PMDG which was started up for engine start and i heard one loud click and the whole cockpit went cold and dark. If so, please activate logging for Buttons & Keys as well as Events, and show me a log file, together with your ini file again and a description of what you did and what went wrong, and I will take a look. Kimchi Posted April 5 Author Report Posted April 5 Thank you for the reply John. What basicly happens in that i am in the cold and dark cockpit starting the plane up programming the FMC, And everything is okay. And out of the blue i notice a certain binding does not work anymore. And that is random. It can be a binding from MSFS (while in the controller config the binding still receives input) but it can also be a binding within FSUIPC. So the inputs are still working: this is not an USB problerm. Its is so weird. So far it only happens with the PMDG 737-800 which had an update lately. I also used GSX which updated. I uninstalled GSX and the PMDG 737-800 and only re installed the 737-800. Same problem occured including my yoke not being responsive in the cockpit. I checked the MSFS control section and there i saw input form my yoke. I went back into the cockpit and suddenly the fuel levers did not work anymore. From my yoke i was still able to reset and pause my Track IR. Im afraid i have to uninstall complete MSFS and start from scratch building up unitl i encouter the problem. But i still want to tell you that FSUIPC is amazing!! IT does exactly what MSFS cant 🙂
John Dowson Posted April 6 Report Posted April 6 This all sounds very strange! Re-installing MSFS sounds rather drastic though, especially if your issue is only with the PMDG 737. Not sure what else you can do though, except maybe try Simstaller (freeware) to check for add-on conflicts - see https://parallel42.com/products/simstaller/. John
