lesb Posted June 23 Report Posted June 23 (edited) *** Moved from main support forum to FSUIPC7 support sub-forum *** Hi, I am not sur if i am understanding this correctly. In Misc i ticked the box Disconnect Elevator Trim with AP. I thought when this was done the elevator trim would have no effect but it does.If i turn the wheel the trim indicator moves then slips back.i thought there would be nothing happening if this box was ticked and you moved the wheel. I was wanting to use this as my trim wheel appears to be a bit noisy and upsets the AP.I am using it in MSFS. Thanks Les Edited June 25 by John Dowson Moved to FSUIPC7 support forum

II will move your post. Can you please show me/attach your FSUIPC7.ini and FSUIPC7.log files, the latter generated from a session where you experience the issue. John
John Dowson Posted June 25 Report Posted June 25 Btw, what aircraft are you using? If I have it, I can check this here. Or does this apply to all aircraft? Can you check this in a default/Asobo aircraft or two (if not done already)? I need to know how your trim is assigned, as well as the aircraft. Is any trim actually being applied (even briefly), or is this just a visual thing? Maybe also see this user contribution:
lesb Posted June 26 Author Report Posted June 26 Hi John, sorry about posting in wrong area, havent need to come here in decades. To answer your question; 1.The freeze lua works. 2. With the box ticked in options and i activate AP the Aileron axis is disabled, both the elevator and elevator trim still work. 3.The trim is assigned in msfs to axis -100 to +100. 4. This happens in the Default c172,.black square bonanza,carenadoc1823rg II. 5.The trim gauge indicator moves but returns to its original pos when trim wheel is released. 6. Have attached said files. Hope i have covered every thing. thanks Les FSUIPC7.log FSUIPC7.ini
John Dowson Posted June 26 Report Posted June 26 1. You attached your FSUIPC7.log file when FSUIPC7 was still running. Please exit FSUIPC before attaching files (log and ini). 2. You trim is NOT assigned in FSUIPC. Your ini file shows no button or key assignments, and you only have axis assignments to set the Flaps: Quote [Axes] PollInterval=10 RangeRepeatRate=10 0=CY,1,F,66534,0,0,0 -{ TO SIM: AXIS_FLAPS_SET }- 1=KZ,256,F,66534,0,0,0 -{ TO SIM: AXIS_FLAPS_SET }- FSUIPC can only disable the trim if/when assigned in FSUIPC. John
