VENOMous Posted July 5 Report Posted July 5 (edited) Hey all, Pete. I recently updated windows 10 to windows 11 and now I can't get controls to work in FSUIPC for FS2020. Sometime my Thrustmaster Hotas Throttle will work and sometimes not, same for the stick. I go into the AXIS controls and it won't recognize them. They work fine in DCS, all controls are working in the Hardware section of the control panel. What can I do to fix this, what may be the issue? Edited July 5 by VENOMous Found ini location
John Dowson Posted July 5 Report Posted July 5 There shouldn't be any difference between running on Windows 10 or Windows 11. Maybe your USB hub preferences have changed - check the Power Management settings on your USB Hubs and make sure "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" is unchecked. Otherwise, please show me/attach your FSUIPC7.log and FSUIPC7.ini files and I will take a look to see if anything is amiss.
VENOMous Posted July 5 Author Report Posted July 5 power management is all good. Here are the files. FSUIPC.rar
John Dowson Posted July 6 Report Posted July 6 Your ini is in a bit of a mess - looks like your device GUIDs changed and new letters have been assigned - several times. Can you attach your FSUIPC7.JoyScan.csv file please and I will see if I can sort it out for you. Are you using an Xbox one game controller? Do you knowwhat this device coukd be: Quote 156 Product= <not readable at this time: maybe device disconnected?> 156 Vendor=1532, Product=022B (Version 1.1) 172 GUIDs returned for product: VID_1532&PID_022B: 172 GUID= {F83317C0-EA08-11EE-8003-444553540000} 172 Details: Btns=24, POVs=(0, 0, 0, 0), Cal=x00000000, Max=R255,U255,V255,X255,Y255,Z255 172 GUID= {ED2F92E0-EA08-11EE-8001-444553540000} 172 Details: Btns=24, POVs=(0, 0, 0, 0), Cal=x00000000, Max=R255,U255,V255,X255,Y255,Z255 ? You are also using a very old and unsupported version of FSUIPC7 - 7.3.21. The latest and only supported version is 7.4.14 - please update.
VENOMous Posted July 6 Author Report Posted July 6 I do have an xbox control attached to pc as well a game pad, and my thrustmaster stuff. I will disconnect that for this. As for the FSUIPC version I got mine on sim market and they still show 7.3.x there :(

I will disconnect that for this. You do not have to disconnect it. I asked as it seems that sometimes the steam version of MSFS can create a phantom xbox controller during start-up, which can confuse things. Is you xbox controller assigned in MSFS or in FSUIPC7? It is usually better to assign this controller in MSFS (I use the default assignments) as there are issues with using XINPUT controllers with FSUIPC - you have to use an additional program otherwise input is only detected when FSUIPC7 has the focus. If you are not assigning this in FSUIPC7, maybe better to set this controller to be ignored. I generally release a new version every 4-6 weeks, and all download links point to the latest version. You can download the latest version from the Download section on this site, or use https://fsuipc.com/. Please update. I still need to see your FSUIPC7.JoyScan.csv file so I can correct your FSUIPC7.ini. Please attach this file. John
John Dowson Posted July 12 Report Posted July 12 @VENOMous Still waiting to see your FSUIPC7.JoyScan.csv file so that I can correct your assignments...please also attach your latest FSUIPC7.ini and FSUIPC7.log files.
