Akalo Posted September 12 Report Posted September 12 I have been using FSUIPC for many years in other versions of simulators. Well, a while ago, after finishing adding a couple more controls to my profile for the PMDG 737, with which I had already made flights without problems, in which all my controls were WELL configured and working, I started a new flight and, oh surprise, the buttons do not do anything that has been programmed, some work, others do not and those that work do not have the assigned function assigned, and to make matters worse, when I want to configure them again, I have to use a specific profile, but Everything is shaded and it doesn't let me select or deselect anything... from one moment to the next, without any installation, uninstallation or anything like that... I have uninstalled it, deleted registry entries and all traces of it and there is no way to get it back, thanks to FSMUPC, my P3D v5, which worked wonderfully, is unusable....
John Dowson Posted September 12 Report Posted September 12 31 minutes ago, Akalo said: I started a new flight and, oh surprise, the buttons do not do anything that has been programmed This is usually due to using an aircraft with a different livery and not using substrings for your aircraft names in the profile section (i.e. you must manually edit the name of the aircraft in the profile section of your FSUIPC6.ini file)... 36 minutes ago, Akalo said: Everything is shaded and it doesn't let me select or deselect anything... from one moment to the next, without any installation, uninstallation or anything like that... If everything is shaded/inactive, then this implies that there are either compound or offset conditions have been added to the assignment, or that the button/switch is overloaded (i.e. has more than one control assigned to it). 42 minutes ago, Akalo said: some work, others do not and those that work do not have the assigned function assigned, To diagnose assignment issues, please activate logging for Buttons & Switches as well as Events/controls (non-axis) and reproduce your issue, and show me/attach your FSUIPC6.ini and FSUIPC6.log files, after exiting P3D.
