FSUIPC crash mid-flight (WASM no LVAR scan fix already applied)

It is happening most flights now, FSUIPC (MS2020, registered FSUIPC7 v 7.4,.8) just shuts down. Only at cruise so far, and usually only once per flight (so not frequent). I can restart it, and very oddly, on start up my Parking Brake is enabled. Flying the PMDG 738.

The "work" FSUIPC_WASM.ini file has been amended to stop LVar rescans, as per the message down forum. For good measure also amended the "base" .ini file.

IAC, here is the crash report ...

Is that any help?

The other FSUIPC crashes are much the same, from the Windows event log.

Presume you mean 7.4.18, no? If not, please update.
If using 7.4.18, please check the first line of your FSUIPC7.log file. If it has a build date of 1st November, i.e.:

Quote

********* FSUIPC7, Version 7.4.18 (1st November 2024) by John Dowson *********

then please download and re-install. it should say 3rd November:

********* FSUIPC7, Version 7.4.18 (3rd November 2024) by John Dowson *********

The initial release was accidentally built using the SDK from MSFS2024, and I corrected this the following day,

If that is not the issue, please show me / attach your FSUIPC7.log file.

Ah...just seen your updates...

I just read about the Nov 1st vs Nov 3rd 7.4.18 update issue. I have the former.

Could that potentially be the problem?

Yes, that is definitely the issue - please update.

John
