TheNorthwestGuy Posted December 11 Report Posted December 11 Hi, Can FSUIPC control the Sim while it is paused? I just built a basic Sim Connect add-on to attempt to pause the time, but unfortunately, Sim Connect can't change the time while the Sim is paused. I was just wondering if FSUIPC could assist with this or if we will have to hope Microsoft will fix this one day. Thanks Robbie

There are various different pause states (5 in all) - some controls work in some pause states, some not. The pause state indicator at offset 0x0262 whoulc indicate the current pause states: Quote Pause control. Indicates all pause states with the following flags:0x0 - No pause0x1 - "full" Pause (sim + traffic + etc...), activated (and disabled) using Pause Set or Pause Toggle0x2 - FSX Legacy Pause (not used anymore) - redundant0x4 - Pause was activated using the "Active Pause" - only assignable in MSFS (not FSUIPC)0x8 - Pause the player sim but traffic, multi, etc... will still run, activated using Pause On, disabled using Pause Off0x10 - 'esc' pauseNote that the sim can be in up to 5 distinct pause states at the same time. You can activate/disable all pause states when in another pause state, except for the esc pause state which blocks other pause states until deactivated. 9 hours ago, TheNorthwestGuy said: I just built a basic Sim Connect add-on to attempt to pause the time, but unfortunately, Sim Connect can't change the time while the Sim is paused. That will depend on the pause state, But FSUIPC is also a SimConnect application and if the sim time is paused then it cannot be changed, unless you are using the active pause state (possibly). I doubt this will be fixed by Microsoft / Asobo as it is not an issue. John
