marcelmiguel Posted March 28 Report Posted March 28 Hi, I have an old setup with FSX and propietary soft & hardware, runnning on 2 computers with FSUIPC (4?) 32b and WideFS. I want to update it to MSFS24, can we have ?: - One computer working with MSFS2024, and old software connecting to FSUIPC 32b. Maybe some osftware can be moved to the secondary computer. - Another computer working with WideFS, that is running all on FSUIPC 32b and connecting to the first computer via wideclient. Is this possible to mix 32b and 64b via WideFS ?

Yes, this shouldn't be an issue. Note that you will need the 32-bit WideClient program from WideFS6 though (but a WideFS6 license is not needed), and not the 64-bit one included with WideFS7. You will need a license for WideFS7 though to validate the WideServer component in FSUIPC7. 18 hours ago, marcelmiguel said: Is this possible to mix 32b and 64b via WideFS ? If your PC is 32b, then you can only run your 32b programs (including WideFS6) on that machine. You should be able to run both 32b and 64b on the 64b machine, which is presumably where the FS and FSUIPC7 are running. John
marcelmiguel Posted Monday at 09:47 AM Author Report Posted Monday at 09:47 AM Thanks !!! So I'll buy a license for FSUIPC7 and a license for WideFS7.

Before buying, try the trial license in the first post in this forum. This also includes a trial license for WideFS7. It will expire after tomorrow, but I will update in a few days (and you will need to download and install again). Always better to try it first to make sure it suits your needs (as no refunds available!). Cheers, John
