Murray Basham Posted April 3 Report Posted April 3 I have rebuilt my PC and now wondering why Button presses arent transferring through to FS2020. I have checked the FAQ topic -MSFS: key assignments (including 3rd-party Hot Keys) not working (FSUIPC7) I can see the button movement being displayed in the open Console while button is being pressed (Mobiflifght AS1000 MFD FMS Upper INC or Dec ) but not seeing this being reflected in the simulator. This issue is with a licenced copy of FSUIPC 7 to a 3rd Party device (Emuteq GNS530). Is there anyting else required. I am running 2 Arduino UNO boards at the same time using Mobilflight events. Thanks
Murray Basham Posted Saturday at 04:15 AM Author Report Posted Saturday at 04:15 AM After going over carefully the Help document, I read that it may be due to Asobo, not allowing the Key Button presses to be acknowledged through to the gauges/ displays. Do I need to submit a Ticket to Asobo for assistance.

But what have key assignments got to do with this? I am confused about both the title of this topic and what your actual issue is... Do you mean that you have a physical button assigned to control a virtual button, but this is not working? And if this is assigned in MobiFlight, why are you reporting this here rather than with MobiFlight? I only support FSUIPC, not MobiFlight. What is a 'key button press', and why should this ' be acknowledged through to the gauges/ displays'? If using FSUIPC, please explain more clearly what your issue is and what this has to do with FSUIPC.
Murray Basham Posted Tuesday at 04:55 AM Author Report Posted Tuesday at 04:55 AM Thankyou John, I am using FSUIPC7 (Licenced version), I am attempting to assign button presses through your software of 'Button and Switch Assignments'. With the Joy# identified once the Key press made and shown within the 2 Boxes to the right and then with the 'Select for FS Control' Checkbox selected, I'm then assigning the function of Mobiflight AS1000 MFD FMS Lower DEC etc as an example for one of the choices to the Joystick assignments. After Opening the Console Window within the FSUIPC7 software of Logging the Key press from the Rotary Encoder. I observe the programmed Key Assignments displayed within the Console Window. With all the Joystick Keys assigned in this software, any movement of the actual encoder or buttons on the peripheral is not transferring into the FS2020 Sim. What other software or solutions are needed for this Switch movement to to be actioned in the Sim. Trust this now gives you a clearer view on what I'm experiencing and needing assistance to resolve. I am using FSUIPC to launch FS2020 and to allow connection with other peripherals.

But that is not a standard FS control - are you using a MobiFlight event file (G1000.evt)? If so, those are not only rather dated, but I think you need the MF WASM module installed for them to work. You should switch to using presets - check the 'Select for Preset' checkbox instead of 'Select for FS Control', and then the Find Preset... button to open the preset list. The G1000 presets are under Microsoft->Generic->Avionics and that one would be AS1000_MFD_FMS_Lower_DEC. You can also search using the MF HubHop site: https://hubhop.mobiflight.com/presets/. There are many presets available for the G1000. John
