Hello,

I hope this message finds you well. I'm writing to seek your assistance regarding an issue I'm experiencing with the VRInsight MCP Combo (version 1) in conjunction with FSUIPC and LINDA.

I'm currently using FSUIPC version 7.5.3 with LINDA 4.1.5 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. While attempting to configure the MCP Combo, I'm encountering persistent issues, particularly involving access violations and compatibility problems.

Could you provide guidance or potential solutions for these issues? Any insights or recommended steps to troubleshoot or resolve these issues would be greatly appreciated.

Please note that I do own a registered version of FSUIPC7.

Thank you for your time and support.

Best regards,
Pascal Massonneau

You need to provide more information.

Please explain your issues in more detail and include/attach both your FSUIPC7.log and FSUIPC7.ini files and I will take a look.

Please note however that I do not use and cannot support LINDA. For LINDA support with MSFS2020, please see https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/620944-linda-support-for-msfs-2020/.

I will take a look to see if there is anything obvious or FSUIPC-related.

John

Later: I see you have also posted the same message on the AvSim LINDA support forum. Unfortunately LINDA is no longer being developed or supported by the developer.

Hi John,

Thanks for your reply.

I'm encountering recurring **access violation errors** when using **LINDA with MSFS2020 and FSUIPC7 (version 7.5.3)**. These issues occur:

- When I launch LINDA (whether MSFS is running or not)
- When trying to use the VRI MCP Combo (COM port selection triggers crashes)
- With error messages indicating missing key files or corrupted system config
- Even after a fresh install of both LINDA and FSUIPC

I understand that LINDA is no longer actively supported, but I'd like to **make sure nothing FSUIPC-related is contributing to the instability**.

I’ve attached both my **FSUIPC7.log** and **FSUIPC7.ini**, as requested.

Thank you again for your help and for maintaining FSUIPC.

Best regards,

I cannot see any issues with FSUIPC7, and your access violations are in the LINDA.exe. Sorry, but I cannot help with this - I have never used and know very little about LINDA.

Traffic scanning is being re-started a few times but this is almost certainly due to your system being under a heavy load and is nothing to worry about.
