kaha Posted Saturday at 11:59 AM Report Posted Saturday at 11:59 AM I try to set a parameter other than o for a Key Assignment. Whatever I use, it's always 0 when I bring it up again. Karl
kaha Posted Saturday at 12:44 PM Author Report Posted Saturday at 12:44 PM If I change the parameter to 1 in the .ini file it shows in the Key Assignments window, but I cannot change it. FSUIPC7.zip
John Dowson Posted Monday at 07:38 AM Report Posted Monday at 07:38 AM You need to press the Confirm button - are you doing this? Works fine here...
kaha Posted Monday at 11:32 AM Author Report Posted Monday at 11:32 AM Right, sorry. Works. Something else here: Trying to use Right Alt ends in Left Ctrl + Right Alt.
John Dowson Posted Monday at 11:58 AM Report Posted Monday at 11:58 AM Yes, that is strange. I will look into it. John
John Dowson Posted Tuesday at 01:53 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 01:53 PM Interesting this - seems to be a windows thing and depends on the keyboard layout. Some keyboards use the right Alt as Alt Grande, and as there is no windows key code for this, windows sends a left Control followed by aright Alt. So this is wht you are seeing. However, the assignment should still work, as when you press this again, it will send the same and trigger the assignment. I can also correct for this, to remove/ignore this additional left control that is sent. I have done this in the attached if you would like to try it. However, I am worried that if I release this as is, it will break any current assignments to the right alt/Alt Grande key. So I may add a new ini parameter to control this behavior (IgnoreAltGrande), with the default being how it works now, but when this parameter is set, the additional left control will be ignored. What do you think? You can try the attached version, where this additional left control is ignored. John FSUIPC7.exe
kaha Posted Tuesday at 04:35 PM Author Report Posted Tuesday at 04:35 PM I don't need it, John. Just came across it when I was making some bindings. As far as I am concerned you may as well leave it as is. Kar
